July 25, 2008: great way to look up house values and see how much people have paid for what. You can also see the value of your neighbor's places. I spent an hour on this site the other night looking up friends' addresses.

I agree this is a really cool site and great tool for figuring out house values. Its plugged into tax records etc.

I checked it out, and it is a cool site. However, in my area the tax assessed vaules are not even close to the true market values. Also, the tax assessed values were for 2004, and that doesn't show recent updates (additions, remodeling, etc.) or jumps in the market values. I could sell my place for three times what it shows on zillow.

I don't like this, I don't want some nosey prick trying to figure out how much money I have. This is why people get robbed and stolen from because of greedy and jealous poeple.

The numbers on Zillow are so far off. It is interesting, but pretty much useless.

I use my own monetary system of unpolished quartz and rolled up cat fur coated with glue from a glue gun. I'm the richest man I know!
