I voted for Bush, I'm sorry.    Back to the homepage

I voted for george bush twice. Even though the alternatives were weak, bush has been a disaster the second term and unfortunately because of people like me you are all stuck with him for two more years. Cowboy politics is just wrong. I actually miss the days of using diplomacy to solve issues. My bad.

philipl20 (1/1): Not only am I glad that i voted for Bush, I would vote for him again. The reason Bush is disliked so much by libs and the world is they can stand real men. The reason why there has been another attack on us soil is the mussies are afraid of bush. The next attack will occur after he leaves office, mark my word (report)
ChefGroovy (1/7): Yeah, we much better off without Kerry, he would have been much worse. I think now we are going to be ok, Dem congress and rep president. btw- I voted for pappa bush twice and bush jr twice, maybe jeb will run this year lol (report)
ARS22 (1/8): Fist of all, Jimbo- it's sad to me that you "almost lost faith in the country you love" given the fact the US is the best country on earth. Second, to say "he's been the worst leader this country has ever known" is a pretty bold statement, I don't think you want to go there. Name the policies that "have damaged us enormously"? I am not a betting man but I am willing to bet you voted for the last Dem. to hold the Office. During that time how many times were we attacked by an enemy who will do anything it takes to kill Americans? How many times did we look the otherway? I am also sick and tired of hearing the John Kerry war hero BS and the "hiding behind his father" crap. Get over it! (report)
anonymous (1/16): Jimbo, how can you say that John Kerry is a "decorated Viet Nam vet"? His picture is located in several museums in Viet Nam as a "hero" for the Viet Nam army. He got Purple Hearts for "injuries" like splinters and broken nails, and then he threw away all of those medals. Kerry is a disgrace to America, and I'm glad that I voted for Bush. (report)
mrmagoo (4/4): I am very proud to say I voted for "Dubya" both times. It feels good to have a GOD FEARING, SMART man with MORALS in office representing this great nation. (report)
Anonymous (3/22): George Bush isn't a "real man." He dodged the Vietnam War and stood by as those other slimey worms (Swift Boat Losers) railroaded a fellow veteran who did put his life on the line in The Nam. What a pathetic joke. This is how far we have slipped as a nation that we would prop up a coward and bash a war vet. If you don't see this you're in denial. (report)

Jimbo (11/25): I am extremely glad to hear at least one person say what you have said. I saw what Bush is and how disastrous it was going to be if people put him in power. When they did and then did it again ( !!!!! ) I almost completely lost my faith in the country I love. I believe he has been the worst leader this country has ever known, and his policies have damaged us enormously. Thank you for having the courage to admit your mistake. (report)
Anonymous (12/1): Just remember - "Hostilities have ended", "I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace." & "stay the course". (report)
smartinlaw (12/28): We can't avoid the Bush multi-fiasco, but we can try to cast a vote in 2008 with which we can live. (report)
Anonymous (12/28): War is a symptom of the 'disease' of having billions of people thinking independently and many with different values. (report)
goolash (12/30): dude, i voted for him too and i feel like a asshole.im a rep. but socially liberal.bush is no rep. he's a douche bag. to bad, i like his dad and wife. (report)
Jimbo (12/31): deweyflash, John Kerry is a decorated Viet Nam war veteran-- the real thing. Bush is a coward who is brave enough to send other people's sons off to die for nothing, but he hid behind his father's power to get himself a safe non-combat position when it was his turn to serve. I voted for Kerry and I am proud that I did!!!!!!!!!! (report)
ARS21 (1/20): See all the angry whiteboys with no education taking the alternative view. What a bunch of crap over in the green column. (report)
Anonymous (3/20): I knew George W"acko" Bush was a "Bushover", people should have learned from the mistakes of choosing George H.W. Bush Sr. and Dan Quayle... We should have had Gore and Edwards or have Dean in the primary... but still damn Florida's Katherine Harris and the Supreme Court "fumbled the ball" on a 4th and 1"... (report)
iceman60 (4/5): never voted anything but Rep.And Bleed Rep. Blue, But Will change after "W"!! only takeing care of his Oil friends, spending $$ like a drunken sailer, can not protect our borders, Brakes the laws of our land (when did he become KIng??) and only Created many More Terrorist's (we will live with this Damage for 30+ yrs) (report)
Anonymous (7/3): Admittting it is the first step to recovery. (report)
sam (11/20): Anyone that still stands behind W is an idiot.Just look what he's doing to the Bill of Rights ,not to mention the Constitution. (report)
kazumi90 (1/17): Not one independent thinker in the green column -- a bunch of sheep. It seems that they have a greater allegiance to the Republican party than they do to the Constitution or our great country. (report)
kazumi90 (1/19): We've seen this type of mindless blind allegiance before -- think.....Germany, the 1930's, the German people and thier allegiance to their leader. (report)
jho78 (2/22): If we follow philpl20s logic, anytime the U.S. gets attacked EVER - it will be the liberals fault. OK. We got attacked under a Republican, why didn't he protect us before it happened? Oh, that's right...because it's impossible to be protected completely. But let's go ahead and destroy the very principles on which the U.S. was founded in order to get a false sense of security. What an idiot! (report)
BeckyTheUser (7/27): And actually, the alternatives weren't weak - they were just thoughtful. Bush is unable to think through his decisions. He goes "from the gut." The gut results from years of evolution, emotional childhood experiences and biochemical balances or imbalances, possibly including what the person with the "gut" ate that day. That is no way to run a country. The number of Bush supporters reflected the huge number of Americans who go with their gut rather than thinking things through. (report)
