unecessary traffic    Back to the homepage

What is it with people who have to brake/stop to take a peek at an accident especially during rush hour? This causes bumper to bumper traffic up to the accident and once you're past the accident, it's like the accident never happened. I can understand slowing down if the accident is ahead of you in the direction you're heading but what I cannot understand is when the accident is on the other side of a divided interstate! It's like these people have never seen a wreck before. I say mind your own business and keep the traffic moving!

Anonymous (7/18): I always thought the police should put up a huge curtain to block accidents from rubber neckers and to keep traffic following. (report)
