I took my 14 yr old son to his dreaded annual spinal bifida tests in the city hospital far away. The nurse took him away and right away brought him back because Son had proclaimed "I read what Mom signed and I know my rights and I am not having the tests done!" So, we came home.
A person who knows himself rocks.
Being Mom to a person who knows himself doesn't always.

ouch, that does suck. Maybe you could try coaxing him with beer, works for most guys his age.

Follow up - During the following visit the Dr who orders these tests admitted that they didn't really need it done. ARGH! Makes me think we all should rebel more often.
