Good Friday, anniversary of Jesus' death on the cross. To many Christians, Good Friday is felt as a day of sorrow. It is a time to grieve over the sin of man and to meditate upon the love that God has so generously bestowed upon humanity in giving His only Son for the redemption of sin. However...
#150. How many people go to church on this day?
#151. Does any really grieve over the sins of man?
#152 What about the homeless?
#153 If you have the right to Religion, why do you have to close your business if you are not Catholic?
#154. Speaking of Catholic, Why does a priest have the authority to forgive you?
#155. Why is a priest allowed to drink?
#156. Why do so many priest molest boys?
#157. Have you ever seen a small Catholic Church?
#158. How come Pentecostal Churches go on for 4 hours?
#159. Why do most Religions lash out at other Religions?
#160. Is God a woman?
The reality is that no matter what your belief, Good Friday is a day off with pay if you are an employee, or a day of lost profits if you are a business owner. If there is a Higher Power then he or she gave us the knowledge to create these great corporations, for that we give thanks every Sunday by leaving a generous offering in the envelope at Church. #161. Is that not enough?
