I am so sick of people using "lol." I admit I am guilty of typing "lol," but it is now so overly used I think it should be banned. I mean does anyone ever say in a conversation laugh out loud? My bet is no. What is wrong with typing "haha" to show you are laughing?

Anonymous (8/9): I can go "Ho!Ho! Ho!" but people will either think I'm Santa Clause...or I'm lookin' at three prostitutes... ;-) (report)

Deception (8/8): I disagree. When people write haha, I feel as though they are only mildly amused, or they are being sarcastic. Know what I mean? lol! jk (report)
Anonymous (8/27): yes, and it teaches children who use these slang terms bad writing habits. (report)
cstraw (9/23): Another one I hate, and read frequently, online and in print is natch. As in "Naturally." For example, "Pamela Anderson was spotted out last weekend at Mood in L.A. sipping grey goose vodka martinis. Our spies caught her wearing no underwear (natch) under her mini skirt." Hey, that was something I made up. I'm pretty good. Maybe I should start writing for US Weekly. LOL! (report)
hazieG (10/3): I type lol a lot. But the sad thing is, I say "laugh out loud" sometimes as well. I'm very addicted to the internet. But if I ever meet you, online or in person, I will do my best to sound like an educated young lady. (report)
