I know this is old news but my addiction to the tv show 24 is still strong and I thought that the last seen was by the far the best one. This show really does rock!

I could not disagree more. I watched 24 the first season and thought the format was at least original (we are way past that now) but four episodes into the second season i could not take how painful it was to watch anymore. So I stopped watching. Ironically I decied to watch the final 2 hour episode to see if all the hype was true. Its not. First, I felt like I had seen the entire season within five minutes of watching. Plus that same painful dra out real time feeling. And please dont get me started on the plot line.
Let me summarize: (and keep in mind this is from only watching the last episode)
-There is some type of bomb somewhere.
-The show spends 23 1/2 hours looking for the bomb.
-In the last 30 minutes they find the bomb with about as much excitement as finding a cool seashell.
-Unplug the bomb. No red wire, green wire, just unplug it. Threat over.
-25 minutes of trying to make you think Jack Baur was actually killed.
-But wait...he was given some magic potion to make him appear dead. Keep in mind there was not foreshadowing to this&just Ha we fooled you. So now he can sneak out of the country, and return next season for yet another PAINFUL 24 hours of anti-climactic, unoriginal show.
If you are looking for some good TV here are my recommendations:
1) The Shield
2) Arrested Development
3)Without A Trace
guinness.....OUT.
