iTrip for my iPod    Back to the homepage
Views: 861 Report
I bought this to keep us entertained on a weekend roadtrip to LA. The most annoying was when it would all of a sudden BLARE a monotone sound so loudly that I would jump every time. It doesn't work well in SF and it only works every once in awhile. Even on the clearest signal, it's sound is average at best.

Anonymous (8/15): I agree, iTrip's sound quality leaves something to be desired. Considering spending much more to get a new radio unit for my car. (report)
Bones (8/16): I think all FM modulators suck. I had the iRock and it was the worst. It didn't have an auto off switch so if you forgot to turn it off after your commute to work, that's it two AAA batteries down the drain. Stupid! Luckily my car now still has a cassette player for the iPod adpater. (report)
skatebard (6/23): The iTrip's sound quality isn't anything to brag about and the fact that it powers itself via iPod battery is another flaw. My 32 hour battery life is severely reduced. (report)
