Not having a spare tire    Back to the homepage
Views: 957 Report
I have a BMW 3 series and I blew a tire hitting a pothole on the freeway on my way up to Tahoe. The good old run flats on my car only last 50 or so miles, so I was basically stuck in sacramento. I called everywhere trying to find a replacement tire but these damn run flat tires are hard to find and very expensive $300 each. I finally found a place in roseville and was lucky they replaced it that day. Now if BMW had just designed a spare tire into the car like EVERY car on the market I would have been fine. I am SO disappointed in my BMW and the lack of a spare. I'm going Audi from hear on out.

skysurfer (2/23): Poor BMW owner. If you can afford a car like this then obviously you could have swung the towing charge to get you to your precious ski appointment. Next time do you homework and check the ratings/feedback on any car you want to buy. And watch the road lame brain @@ !!! (report)
WhAtDaHeck (3/10): I just replace my run flats with regular tires because like yourself I'm sick of throwing away my money" it's just a crime"," It's an idea that didn't have lots of thought behind it" (report)
