Do I dress up the dog for Halloween?

I saw the funniest costume over the weekend of a devil and I want to get it for the dog (I have a 1 year old yellow lab). Do I buy it and dress her up for Halloween to answer the door? My girlfriends are dressing their dogs up.

My dog is a Chow/Lab mix about 6 years old. We dressed him up for Halloween a couple of times; one year he was an angel, one year he wore army fatigues. When my stepson got married the dog wore a tuxedo complete with top hat and tails to have his picture taken with "the guys." Each time he looked at me as if to say, "Whay in the bloody hell are you morons doing to me now?" My wife and I do walks for breast cancer whenever we can (she is a survivor.) The dog always comes along wearing his official tee shirt. That he seems to like; it's almost as if he knows he's doing something important. What can I tell you - I'm a hopeless (screwball?) dog lover.

I had a yellow lab too. He'd be sad if you dressed your dog up. It's tacky and pretentious.

i think dressing up your dog is not good at all.dogs like to have room to run around and a costume is not that so do not dressup your dog
