Led Zeppelin Reunion: Will It Give New Fuel To Plagiarism Accusations?    Back to the homepage
Views: 1669 Report
Diehard rock music fans around the world are eagerly looking forward to the news out of London on December 10, 2007, when the long-awaited, one-night-only Led Zeppelin reunion takes place. Apart from how they'll sound after all these years, the big question hanging over the Led Zeppelin reunion, however, may well be that of rumors and accusations flying madly around the Internet concerning evidence that some say suggests that Zep lifted some of their most famous tunes and licks from other bands and classic blues players. Serious critics have risen to call completely unoriginal a band that's been so widely revered. Of course, the Led Zeppelin reunion concert is a guaranteed sellout, and scalpers are no doubt having a field day. But if the Robert Plant and his cohorts play as brilliantly as they once did, much if not all of the criticism will no doubt be ignored if not forgotten, and the one-night-only event will inevitably be followed by a Led Zeppelin reunion tour in 2008!
