New Year’s Eve—Eggs On Egg    Back to the homepage
Views: 783 Report
Ring in the New Year with Weight Watchers approved heart stopping party food and be sure to offend your New Year’s Eve party guests at the same time. In the November/December 2007 issue of Weight Watchers Magazine, it is suggested that you serve hard boiled eggs topped with caviar to your guests. Are you kidding me Weight Watchers?! Since when is it a good idea to promote salty eggs (and thus hypertension) to be placed upon boiled eggs (cholesterol laden) and serve them as health food to party guests? You then suggest washing it down with an inexpensive but delicious Prosecco or Italian sparkling wine. I guess I WOULD need to wash it down with something! I just can’t believe a supposed diet magazine would promote a heart attack on a plate as guest food. I only plan on inviting people I like to my party…I think I’ll pass on your suggestions and come up with some healthy choices of my own! Weight Watchers, you may need to wipe the egg or eggs off of your face on this one!
