Does anybody else out there despise widescreen as much as I do? It annoys me almost as much as Alien vs. Predator Requiem with the crappy cinematography and scenes so dark you can't tell what's going on not to mention the stupid premise...oh...um...where was I?...er
yeh...why do they release some films on DVD only in widescreen? I won't rent them I hate it so much. Here's a sharp stick, Hollywood..you know what to do with it. Grr!!!

I used to agree...until I got my 40" Sony LCD TV...now I despise the normal screen shows (Non-HD) because I paid all that money for a wide screen and all that realestate isn't being used...LOL

becasue alkl movies are made in wodescreen and you lose 1/3 to 1/2 the movie screen real estate when viewing them formatted for tv ... idiot

BTW...a friend has a widescreen TV. They still put that letterbox garbage on those screens, too. They should just be formatted to fit your screen..period. I'd rather lose 1/3 of the (mostly garbage) than stare at those black bars. And if you want to get personal, "Anonymous", I'd say anybody who doesn't have the balls to trash somebody under their real ID is...well...ball-less. So take your sorry gutless ass back to your play room and glue alkl two of your starry cow eyes back onto to your wodescreen TV. Is your ass as fat as your lazy-ass fingers? (sheesh!)
