I recently returned from a first time visit to Texas. I visited downtown San Antonio and Lackland Airforce base. I had a fabulous time, Texas was not at all what I expected (cowboys and bouncing dust bunnies). The river walk downtown is an excellent attraction, along with several affordable unique restaraunts and bars. I also enjoyed the Spanish Market and the River Center Mall with 210 stores!! Make sure you take plenty of cash!! I WANT TO CONGRATULATE ALL THE AIRMEN WHO GRADUATED ON NOVEMBER 11TH, 2005!!! GO AIRFORCE!!!
