I am glad I enlisted, to protect the right of your point of views, even if it is to criticized your own government. Because the day I don't here guys like you renting and complaining, I better get my gun and run to the white house to see who is in charge. Until that time I know we are safe. The term "punk" in this posters name says it all. If one is not willing to fight for his country, agree or not with the purpose, one is truly a punk. To rebuke brave men following in the proud traditions of our military and our country is a further indication of the low level of self esteem and self respect that this poster must suffer. To use such a wide brush in such a hurtful way, I would seriously question the motives of this poster, and consider the source someone who would be a good candidate for lessons in reality and history.

Hey uncle, after reading your Second Post, it is more clear to me, but I do not think you can blaim Somalia on Bush. That was a Clinton affair, none of which any of us are proud. I think if your first post didn't sound like a punk kid ranting off, I would have been a little nicer, due to your service. I do not believe we should follow blindly either, and should question what Bush is doing, as long as it does not send the wrong message. My neighbor came back from Iraq a month or two ago, it is NOT what you see in the news. They are re-building what they can, making life better, but there are a group of people dead set against the people having a normal life. Those are the ones we are fighting. Not Somalians, not Afghans, or even Iraqiis, but murdering fanatics who want nothing better then to see the USA RUN AGAIN, like they did in Somalia, and Vietnam. Somalia is a haven of murdering cut throats, and that is what will happen in Iraq if we leave. Whether it was right or wrong to go in, we have no choice but to stay and win, or a mass murder will occur there of which the world has never seen. And guess who will be to blame? Not just Bush, but every American that walks abroad.

Coward? Punk? Oh I'm sorry, I guess I should have mentioned I'm a combat veteran courtesy of Bush I--a little peace-keeping/humanitarian expedition known as Somalia. 10th Mountain Division kids. So tell me, does earning a Purple Heart , murdering starving Africans who are trying to kill you and dealing with post traumatic stress disorder make me a coward and a punk? Does disillusionment with the US government due to little to no services or support from my local VA Hospital make me Un-American and as a result unentitled to express my opinion in a land I spilled blood for? If so then label me however you may--coward, punk, baby-killer, terrorist--BRING IT ON!
PS To the anonymous enlisted poster: It's sheep like you who enable a clown like Bush to wage his global war to expand the American Empire. Don't question authority, always do what you're told and don't take the time to get an educaton. Your English skills are so severely lacking I'm surprised you passed the ASVAB in the first place. RETARD!!!
