Imposing new restrictions and regulations on legal workers who have contribute to the economic tremendously and not entitled to any benefits is really unfair. The UK Home Office has increased the application fee from zero to £950 per application over the last two years and imposed a compulsory test even ordinary British can't pass. This is exploitation of the highest order. The legal workers have made their decision to work in this country based on regulations imposed 4 or 5 years ago. Changing them now is unfair to people who have committed themselves. The UK home office should impose these regulations to new applicants for work permit. It looks like Home Office is trying to cover up its inability to tackle illegal immigrants by punishing the legal ones. Come on Home Office, is this how you treat people who have made significant contribution to the country. Think again and reconsider your decisions or you will be losing in the long run. Don't come begging for workers in third world countries in a few years time when you are faced with another shortage of skilled workers.
