I have twin girls who are 4 yrs old. We currently have a problem with them getting out of the back patio door and playing in the yard without us knowing. For example, we woke up at 6:30am this morning to them playing on the back deck. Luckily, our yard is fenced in, but it's still scary. After a little yelling by my husband and myself,I sat them down and explained why they can't go outside alone. I'm sure none of what I said sunk in.

You only need to put a lock on your door up high enough so they can't get you. Watch Super Nanny show and you would know this!

We have locks on doors....unless we get rid of our kitchen chairs, they don't matter.
