I find it depressing that Pirates of the Caribbean has already made more money than MI:3. I'm not saying that MI:3 is a good movie, in an artistic sense. It and Pirates fit into the same catagory of movie: mindless summer entertainment. But MI:3 manages that entertainment so much better than Pirates does! The only reason PotC exists is Depp. And he is, in fact, great. But MI:3 has Hoffman, Fishburn, Rhames, and a much better plot overall. I'm just sad that the inferior film will make much more money because, for whatever reason, that's what the consumers want.

Except that MI:3 probably sucks just as much. PotC is Depp and maybe Knightly. I think it would be cheaper just to check out fan sites.
