I’ve wanted to try cross country skiing for years. It seems like it would be an awesome exercise aid along with walking to control my weight with my Weight Watchers diet. I was excited at the “Let It Snow!” headline and read the blurb on page 61 of my Nov/Dec Weight Watchers magazine about trying cross country skiing for thirty minutes. Then I turn the page to find out more and there’s nothing. It moved on to walk talk and other miscellaneous tips. If I want to learn more about cross country skiing apparently it really won’t be from Weight Watchers. I have to let my fingers do the walking and visit a web page they advertise. This is all well and good unless I’m reading my magazine somewhere else other than in front of a computer; which usually happens to be the case. You know, on the bus, the train; or since I’m on a diet, on a treadmill or bike. Exercise equipment is a great place to read; it is not a great place to search the web. Their attempt at being the diet and exercise resource falls short in the “mybody” section.
That’s my two points anyway.
