As we know, for many years now talks over how to address climate change are bogged down, or stopped altogether, by questions of who will pay for green technology. How we share the burden of emissions cuts is an inconvenient truth of how to manage the problem. No one at the current Bali talks wants an economic meltdown, but science shows that time is running out. Al Gore can speak an inconvenient truth, as he did, saying "My own country the United States is principally responsible for obstructing progress in Bali," which got howling applause. Gore had come straight from Oslo, after accepting the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to speak such an inconvenient truth. "I don't know how you can navigate around this enormous elephant in the room which I've been undiplomatic enough to name. But I'm asking you to do it," Gore said. Doesn't it rock that our former VP can speak an inconvenient truth to power, instead of lying or masking himself behind diplomatic dithering? How badly we need more of this these days!

What amazes me is how well he's done since he invented the internet. Now that he has a vested interest in global warming he should be able to add on to his mansion and maybe buy another jet. Amazing how he won't debate anyone. Why global warming? Because Al Gore says so! At the very least, you should google opponents, global warming and get another perspective.
