Why are we, as women, always supposed to be looking for a man? When a man is single and in his late 20's or early 30's no one seems to have a problem with it. It's totally different for women. I'm 28, single and perfectly content, but for some reason my single status seems to bug the people around me. I'm not batting my eyelashes hoping to get asked out or frustrated when men ask for my number and don't call. I'm enjoying my time alone. When the right guy comes along I'll know it. Until then...you only live once.

Perhaps the people around you who are concerned with your single-ness (single-dom?) are completely miserable in their relationships, and as such they are actually just _jealous_ that you're single?

Chris Rock said it bestin his last stand up show...."You are either, single and lonley or married and bored. The only exciting relationships...are bas relationships...cuz you never know what is gonna happen next." In my proffesional oppinion it sounds like antichick needs to be a little less anti boy and get yoursmooches on!
