Have you loved someone who has died, and after their death you have had a sign from them telling you, that they are okay? I know, you're probably thinking this poster is nuts, but I'm not! I'm very serious about this and I'm interested in hearing from anyone who might have received a sign from someone they loved who has died. Here's what happened to me: Right after my Dad died I saw a man walking down my street who was dressed just like my Dad; khaki pants, plaid shirt, and a funky canvas hat. He was tall like my dad and even had white hair and I only saw him from behind. I had NEVER seen this man before in our neighborhood, and I saw him again for the next 3 days just before we buried my dad and I have not seen him since those difficult days. My dad walked every morning and I swear it was his way of letting me know that he was okay and was now walking a new path in heaven. I must say it was comforting and a bit eerie, but in my heart, I know my Dad was sending me a message. Please let me know if you have had such an experience.

Anonymous (8/5): glad you had this experience. I've had minor, similar things happen. lights going out, unusual bird sightings. it's a comfort, and you should be glad for it. (report)
JBcuz (8/15): My husband had a similar experience following the dealth of his father! He had been out of the office (and out of the state) for almost three weeks. In his office since the day he started working is a plant that has never, ever bloomed in the 18 months since he took his job. The week he returned to work following his father's death and buriel, this plant bloomed the most beautiful and fragrant flowers he had ever seen. Other co-workers who had been there longer had never seen blooms on the plant either. Not sure what it meant, but it brought a tremendous amount of comfort to my husband. (report)
CaptAmerica (8/31): Just passed your story on to a friend who just lost her Mom. (report)
whigedouttothemax (9/22): On Feb. 5, 2009 my brother died. About 2:00 am, a sound of a quick burst of wind went past my head as I was laying in bed (couldn't sleep because of pain) I didn't feel the wind but sure felt it! About 30 minutes later we got the phone call that he had passed away at 2:14 am. He suffered alot in his life as I have and I think he was telling me goodbye. (report)
