The estimated population of the United States is 299,658,923 so each citizen's share of this debt is $28,535.71. The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.66 billion per day since September 30, 2005.

It's our money and our country. The average citizen can vote the tax & borrow bums out of office. If you split the House Senate and Presidency between the two parties, this will bring back some form of checks and balances.
