Some of us cringe when we hear, “What is your plan for saving for the future?” Some of us have a plan and some of us don’t. Let’s face it……it’s not the easiest thing to tackle. But, here are three simple tips to help you avoid spending more, which will allow you to save more. Saving smarter means taking apart your huge savings plan, and breaking it into smaller pieces. Start with your priorities. Make yourself a list. If you would like to pay off those high interest credit cards, pay a little more each month instead of the minimum. Don’t use them unless absolutely necessary. Another way to start saving smarter is to watch where you use your debit cards. Banks fees can really add up when you take money out of another bank’s ATM. Pay your bills online. This can avoid late fees and save on stamps. By following these simple steps you will be on your way to saving smarter.
