Bear in mind that I'm biased because I was born and raised here in San Diego. It's so much nicer and better than Los Angeles. The property taxes and the recent city scandal are a little disconcerting but it's still a great place to live.

I couldn't agree more! I use to live in the Mojave Desert area, and compared to that, San Diego is heaven!!
