SF meter parking: $0.25 for 10 minutes    Back to the homepage
Views: 1019 Report
San Francisco meter parking is up to $1.50 an hour. Down where I work an hour's worth of parking costs a quarter. I don't park at meteres that much in SF so it's not the amount that bothers me, it's the fact i have to keep $10 in change in my car. If the city is going to charge that much they should have meters that allow credit cards.

Bones (8/7): Why do we have to pay in the first place. Don't taxes cover this? I understand that parking meters help create turnover giving more people the chance to find parking in retail areas, but charging $1.50 is crazy and just a pain for everyone. (report)
