I'm almost not sure whether this blows or rocks. On the one hand, the pettiness between Giuliani and Romney the Republican Presidential Debate on Wednesday was certainly amusing to watch. On the other hand, any time a Republican Presidential debate descends into the kind of silliness this one did is just a reflection on how low our political discourse has fallen.
Seriously, the entire Republican Presidential Debate series has devolved into a series of slapfights, ridiculous name-calling and one-upsmanship. Last night's debate in particular, with Giuliani and Romney spitting and hissing over who has the worst illegal immigration record, was just pathetic.
Next time there's a Republican Presidential Debate on, I'll be watching my neighbor's grade-school kids fight instead. I't sbound to be more entertaining.
Not that any given Democratic Presidential Debate is much better, mind you.
