Republicans To Turn Over FEMA to Homeowner's Associations

Conservatives are disputing that the Federal government failed to manage the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Instead, they are demanding that people "take care of themselves" after natural disasters. "If people can't pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and relocate to their vacation homes, then they should turn to their homeowner's associations. "It is not the appropriate role for a government to solve people's problems. I mean, those people in New Orleans, why didn't they just go to their club?"
