I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the Republican party implode on themselves. Those self-righteous, power-mongering, propaganda experts have been showing their real selves lately and I love it! They have been dropping like flies. Rep.Duke Cunningham and Rep. Bob Ney busted for accepting bribes, Republican Lobbyist Jack Abramoff going to jail and naming names on the way, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay crashed and burned on corruption charges, and now they have a gay pedophile who was a co-chairman of the Congressional Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus! And the Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert looks to have been involved in a cover-up of Foley's misbehavior! I couldn't have written a better script myself! Are these guys all undercover liberals sacrificing themselves for the cause? No, They are just your old fashioned hypocrites finally being exposed. THIS IS GREAT! Now we just need to see the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice four-headed monster destroy itself and maybe some sanity will return to the US leadership!

Thanks LHU, but why are all the guys who call themselves "conservative" being so quiet? Because I am right?!! You guys have been pretending you belong to the party of higer morals. So where is all your moral indignation now? Or are you all still to busy listening to that hypocrite drug addict Rush Limbaugh to pay much attention to reality!!!!

Jimbo, while I am enjoying how the mighty-righty have fallen, (my bleeding liberal heart goes out to the Pages who are the real victims in this sordid affair oh if I just could understand how a Compassionate Conservative would console these teenagers& Should I talk to Dennis Hastert? Or maybe Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, etc? But I digress&) the most distressing issue is how easily the American public embraced this Emperor without clothes, his court of inbred Republican Tax and Borrow cronies and their vacant and shallow policies. I am a fiscally conservative, socially conscious American Patriot. I believe in clean air and water. Free trade, and National Security (Im sorry, Securing the Homeland is just too close to the Nazis Securing the Fatherland&). The Geneva Convention as it has been interpreted for over a half a century. But most of all the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. America, stand up for what you believe in and vote.

That's why I am trying to stir things up here: to get people to think and reflect about the tragic things that are being done to this country. The Republican party has led us into a useless and senseless war that has cost us 300 billion dollars so far, and thousands of our most courageous young men, and the cost to the Iraqis is far far more. They have caused America to become known for torturing prisoners, and increased the hatred of America abroad. Meanwhile at home they are chipping away at the most cherished guarantees we enjoy under our Constitution. And they have squandered the budget surplus of the Clinton years and put us all deeply in debt. Yes! Please! Everyone needs to vote to get these lunatics out of office!
