This is done to stand up for all thinking, intelligent, liberals who are sick and tired of being called Anti-American for being Anti-Bush. It is beyond me how people in America, conservative, liberal, independent or otherwise can support this administration or its policies. Wise up people!!! Bush and his cronies are doing damage that will take this nation generations to overcome.

So did the last guy in office - he left a very nice impression on our children when on national TV pointed his finger at the American people and said what he said. That will stay with our children who will be leaders of our country after we are long gone.

Any politician has a love/hate relationship with the public. If you are a liberal and we had a liberal president who didn't want to step on anyones toes and wouldn't say anything taboo and had no guns to stick to, wouldn't the shoe be on the other foot? Wouldn't conservatives say the exact same thing you did? Didn't most conservative Americans say the exact same thing about Clinton that you just said? For all its liberties believe it or not America isn't a perfect society. We elect one person and that person follows thier constituency, values, morals and duties to the extent of their ability or to the extent we allow them. Bottom line - If you think the nation is in such dire straits then move. With terorist activity and natural disasters and such we really don't need that kind of attitude around anyway.

I agree that Clinton's conduct with Monica was unbecoming, but I really do not think a lie about cheating on your wife can compare with a lie that has brought about the deaths of over 2000 American soldiers and the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis. And the body counts are growing every day. This lie has also alienated us from the rest of the civilized world. We are now regarded as agressors, a label we have never worn before and should never have had to wear now. Do we really think there is a comparison to be drawn here?

You are absolutely right Jaded. For pearl15 to even try to draw a comparison is completely ludicrous. How many of the tens of thousands of Iraqis who have died had anything to do with the attack of 9/11? The answer is zero. And yet Bush used that attack as a justification for the war over and over and over. His policies are inciting more worldwide hatred of America than ever before. The result will be more violence against us.
