Is it me, or is the cost of dry cleaning really outrageous? I took some standard J Crew shirts and Banana Republic pants in, and it was $55! I have a hard time paying $4.50 to dry clean a $30 button-down. Living in the Marina, I can expect slightly higher prices, but $12 to dry clean a dress? Does anyone have a great dry-cleaner that is not as expensive?

If you're going to Peninou, you're paying too much. There is a good dry cleaner on Sacramento St., a few doors down from the Sonoma County store I think? You think $55 is bad? I pay about $95 every two weeks!

I'm still trying to figure out why "one hour" drycleaning takes four days. Perhaps if it was only one hour the price would be lower and more reasonable . ? !
