Holiday Potluck Dinner—How To Undermine Your Host    Back to the homepage
Views: 1094 Report
In the November/December 2007 issue of Weight Watchers Magazine, they list some potluck pointers for your holiday potluck dinner. They should have stated that it was a list of how to undermine the host of your holiday potluck dinner. First of all, they suggest clearing the item you are bringing to your holiday potluck dinner with the host. Ummm, if the host wanted to do that much work, it wouldn’t be a potluck dinner. Then they have the audacity to suggest bringing along extra disposable containers in order to distribute your leftovers to the other guests. Hello?! If what you are planning to bring necessitates bringing several of your own disposable containers in order to get rid of it, maybe you ought to consider bringing something else! This is not the place to get rid of Aunt Myrna’s famous fruitcake that has been passed down from generation to generation! What I want to know is how come Weight Watchers didn’t make the point of bringing along a dish that was diet friendly, but yummy so that you could participate in the festivities and still remain on your diet plan? C’mon Weight Watchers…get your head in the plan so we can!
