Pontiac, Michigan Drivers And Aides Getting Screwed By Employer

When these employees are hired to drive the bus they are told that drawing unemployment during the summer and other times off is a fringe benefit. Actually the unemployment agency in Michigan has no problem with these employees drawing benefits it is First Student who has gone back on its word. From 2001-2005 the manager at the Pontiac First Student location helped secure these benefits for employees. Since the company has changed its moral and ethical views it now has begun to fight to get these benefits withdrawn including paying back any benefits drawn for the 2006-2007 year. The current ethical and moral culture of the new First Student manager is lie at all costs. She takes in incomplete and falsified documents and lies about everything with no thoughts about seeing you in an hour at work. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. In the mean time families suffer. No one seems to care. I wish these workers well in their fight. It takes special people to be bus drivers. They are so kind, loving and giving to their community. Bless Them All!!!
