Any way you put it, breaking up over the phone sucks. Whats with guys? I mean why do they have to breakup over a phone? Even when its a mutual breakup doing it over the phone just seems wrong!

The only thing worse...IS A BREAKUP BY EMAIL!!! Courtesy of a girl I dated once upon a time, so by no means is such an impersonal method of breakup restricted only to men!!!

This comes from experience. The best way to break up with a chick is to send her a 12 pack of keystone light with a letter attached saying you are not interested in her anymore. Its a win win situation. Your ex gets 12 of the best beers in the world and you dont have to deal with her anymore...

Anyway you put, like the song "Breaking up is hard to do", it is not just men. My ex-wife did it with make up cards I sent her. Skribbling out the nice words, changing them and sending it back to me. She would not answer the phone, and I could not figure out for the life of me, what I had done wrong. We were only married for a year, when I had to move to another state for a job. She told me to do it, and said she would follow, HaHa, joke was on me. She planned it that way all along.
So it is NOT just men ladies!!

It depends on the length of the relationship. I do it face to face I like to see tears so I can cry too and they remember me more fondly as I move on to the next pretty-bird.

If you're too gutless to do the right thing and break up with someone in person you should never have gotten involved in a relationship in the first place because you've obviously got the emotional maturity of 2 year-old.

Men are wired differently than we are. I think it's that fight or flight thing. I say, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Next time around you be the one making the call. If a guy doesn't have the b@lls to face you, why should you let it bother you. The guys on this site like to talk b-g (clever quips and "guy's guy" remarks). I'll bet if they were in a room with us they'd behave very differetly. The moral of the story?: men have bigger b@lls when they can hide behind a screen name.
