Oh No! New Design Layout for Evite Invitations Blows    Back to the homepage
Views: 11604 Report
so bummed. Has anyone seen the new layout of the an Evite invitation. I opened up an Evite tonight (still one of my favorite .com's) and noticed a horrific new design for the Evite invites. Am I the only one who thinks the new layout is ridiculous, tell me, and I'll shut up. But if you agree I'll make sure our feedback makes it to the top (a little benefit since I used to work for Evite). 1. The events notes are no longer centerd on the page. 2. the response box for comments is minimal, essentially discouraging people to leave comments ( the only reason Evite beat all the competition back in the .com days was because of the response box) 3. the left hand guest control links do not need their own column essentially destroying the presentation of the Evite. With halloween (biggest Evite seasonal event) coming up, this is not the time to screw with Evite. Does anyone else agree?

UESGal (10/14): I think Evite's are annoying now... you get so many that they've lost their appeal. I don't know of a better way to invite people in a fun, intereactive way, but I don't give it much thought. (report)
yoohoo2 (11/7): I totally agree! When I received an evite last week I was really disappointed in the new format. It is not user friendly and very disjointed. I will no longer use it to send my invites. Why did they go and change it? Don't they know, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?!" (report)
Anonymous (5/13): is there a way to use the old format (report)
