I absolutly love this new way of internet marketing, but what the hell is up with Keyword Advertising? How much can we possibly afford to spend on promoting our business every year?

I can’t see to much wrong with Google advertising.
It takes a bit of time to find less compatible key words (less expensive )
Work out a good CTR
But show me an better way to target your audience
Directories are a wasted effort in my case
News paper ads are expensive, jack all response
What annoys me is this
People think, advertising is a THING for businesses
I say !
Keep a permanent profile / advert of your skills and expertise. Find new leads for your next job, assignment or contract.
But don’t just come and say
Preferred Occupation: Any (who is gonna give a toss about ANY. You must know!)
Objectives : none (haven’t met one person without ambitions yet)
Experience: none (gee, every one must have some sort of work experience)
How do these ppl expect to get some one interested?
