Movies in 2005    Back to the homepage
I read that the box office has done horribly for 2005, one of the worst years in fact. I can't say I am surprised, the last few movies I have seen have been awful....Bewitched, ElizabethTown, In Her Shoes, Just like Heaven....all so cheesy and/or way too long. Hopefully the holiday movies will be better!

Bones (11/1): Didn't you say you liked Just Like Heaven: "Just like Heaven - If you like cheesy romantic comedies, you will love this movie! I thought it was good, but super cheesy! It is filmed in SF, though, so that is an added bonus!" - That said I agree that the movie in 2005 have been weak. Sorry to bust you on your previous post :) (report)
Scuba (11/1): Tahoejab - I agree. Hollywood has really gone down hill. I will say the only good movies I've seen lately are either remakes of old classics or based on books. So Hollywood isn't really providing anything creative, other than some fancy camera work, editing, and that gossip everyone loves to follow. (report)
Bopper (11/1): I totally agree....BUT....Wedding Crashers was awesome. Can't wait for that to come out on video. (report)
Scuba (11/1): LOVE Wedding Crashers!!! (report)
tahoejab (11/1): Bones, I put Just Like Heaven in the Rocks category, just because it was the best of the worst! It won't even make my top 20 list! (report)
Bones (11/1): Good call on wedding crashers - awesome movie for any year. (report)
pickering (6/19): Wedding Crashers was the worst out of this whole lot-Owen Wilson is Not funny! (report)
