It's sad to say that what I have seen in Louisiana looks very similar to the situation I experienced in the 'beautiful' east African nation of Somalia. My question is how does a supposed First World Nation (the U.S.) allow the aftermath of an anticipated and expected natural disaster turn an entire state into a sub-Third World region? Where is the government's quick-reponse disater aid? Why are there people still stuck in the squalor of the Super Dome? How could this happen in America? Our govenment has once again let us down with catastrophic results!
