A Memorable Birthday Party

What kind a a birthday party do you think it's going to be when the hostess hands out oversized plastic trash bags and tells you to put them on? Well the answer is easy -----OFF THE CHART FUN. We went to this one of a kind " Milestone" birthday party with an Olympiad theme. After dinner, the hostess blows an official whistle and says, "Let the Games Begin" and with that handed each of the thirty guests a heavy duty giant sized trash bag with the instructions to put it on and cover up your clothes as much as possible. It was almost 9:30 pm when we broke into teams to have a water balloon toss, followed by an egg in the spoon race and concluding with pass the orange from neck to neck without using your hands. It was sooooo much fun- like being a kid again. We played in their driveway, using the headlights of a car to illuminate the area. I think we had more fun and laughs over all this shenanigans than when we were little kids playing these same games. We all left feeling like winners, and laughed all the way home thinking about what a crazy fun night that we all had. Not the usual kind of party -but the kind you'll ALWAYS remember.
