Leather Kangaroo Organizer - Yuck, Yuck, Yuck!    Back to the homepage
Views: 1420 Report
Flicking through a 'perfect present' guide in Parenting magazine, I came across a Leather Kangaroo Organizer. It was offered as a suggestion for 'that guy who can never find a thing on his desk'. Well, my brother fits into that category, but I can assure you that if I got him the Leather Kangaroo Organiser for Christmas, the only thing he'd be looking for would be the receipt so he could get a refund! Talk about TACK-Y!! It's bright orange/red with silver studs holding the legs, pouch and head in place, so it's sure to stick out like a sore thumb on even the dorkiest guy's desk. As a proud Aussie girl, I've come across Australiana from the stereotypical to the silly and everything in-between...but the Leather Kangaroo Organiser is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. I find it funny how it's always things that are daggy, ugly and impractical (at the very least!) that seem to make it onto 'perfect present' lists, which makes me question the person who decides what to put on such lists! It's almost like they're saying "If you use this guide, obviously you've got no idea about Christmas shopping, so we're just gonna make you look like even more of a dork!" Oh well, I always maintain that you can't take life too seriously and you can never underestimate the value of a good laugh, and seeing the Leather Kangaroo Organiser (a laughable representation of a gorgeous animal) certainly gave me a giggle. Merry Christmas!
