Basketball fans in LA will soon be saying Kobe Who? Two new stars have arrived on the SoCal hoop scene. Playing for the love of the game and for rival colleges, freshman Kevin Love and O.J. Mayo bring a fresh look to Pac 10 basketball. Although much younger and clearly playing a different level of basketball than Bryant, Love and Mayo bring a fresh perspective that will revive the following of NCAA hoops not only in the LA area, but nationwide. Kobe Who? In an era where professional basketball players are more like mercenaries than pro athletes, the mutual respect and love of the game shared by these two freshman is contagious. Kobe Who? To leave or not to leave isn't the question, who is going to miss you may be the more relevant question as the true basketball fan will be watching the college games in SoCal this season, not the lakers, the rivers, or the clippers.
