My friend will be a senior in high school and is being looked at by all the college football scout, for kicking. Yes, being able to kick a pigskin can get you a full ride to colleges like USC. This blows because while I am working tirelessly trying to attain the grade point average that the University of Southern California will consider, he is sleeping in the back of class.

Very few people can earn a living by kicking a football, and very few people who sleep through classes can earn a good living either. I think you'll do OK in the long run.

Yeah you'll definitely do better off in the long run. Plus being mad at this guy's situation might even help you push yourself. People who don't care don't deserve to go to college. He needs a lesson in respect.

You do sound a bit jealous, but think about it....what happens if he breaks his ankle? Never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. Better to think on your feet than depend on them for a living.
