Tom and Katie - One Year Later

So here we are, one year later, and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made it to their 1-year anniversary and are still (happily?) married. Tom has his young and beautiful wife (let's not forget fertile), and Katie has her mega-Hollywood icon to supply her with open-ended spending sprees. (Which most of her money lately has gone into her hairstyles. Isn't she on her 4th haircut in like a month?) To get back to my point...If you thought the marriage was a little rushed, you aren't the only one. I heard Tom was pressured into marrying Katie by her father, who, rumor has it, had a very stern talk with Tom to make good on retaining his daughter's reputation. I imagine the conversation would have gone something like this.... "See my foot? It's going to be up your A^% if you don't make good on my daughter's name." But that's just me. I think Tom got the hint...(Katie's father is said to be 6'7" - that's a full foot taller than Tom!) And of course, Tom and Katie have Suri to consider, and she may play a major role in how long they stay married. So how long Tom and Katie last? It might end up being a very long time. Wonder what will happen to Tom when he tells Katie's father they're getting divorced....yikes!
