Interest only mortgages are just what they sound like. For a period of time, you will only have to pay the interest rate of your loan. Instead of making large monthly payments, you will only have to pay the amount of your interest.

I have an interest only mortgage on my home, because the we had to do a stated income loan. But it's not bad.
