Parenting magazine asks questions of its readers each month and posts the best ideas in its magazine. This month, the posts contain ideas about free stuff to do with your kids. Along with the great stuff like going to the museum on the monthly free admission day, one mother wrote in that she likes to take her little darlings to open houses. She writes that it's a great adventure for them to run around exploring. Um, hello, this is someone else's house! If you were selling your house would you like a bunch of snot-nosed kids running and exploring your closet? Okay so maybe your little darlings are well-behaved. But here's a reality check THIS IS A STRANGER'S HOUSE. While your little one is running around what if he comes across the loaded gun, rat poison or porn in the closet, hidden away from the eyes of the prospective buyers that are supposed to be there. Get a clue lady, open houses are for grown ups, not a license to let the kiddies wander around the Forbidden City. Go to a park. This suggestion is wrong Parenting, get some responsibility.
