So I watch Mr. Earths movie on global warming the other night. Its a good movie and definitely eye opening. We're basically all screwed and based on Gore's timeline its too late to change and fix things, we're all going to be under water in 10 years. Either way I'm sure Gore will be a last minute addition to the 2008 presidential race

I think we should purposely flood the earth and build underwater cities. Then we could slowly adapt back into fish-like beings. And, we could eat the fat people! if 30% of the populice is indeed fat, that could feed us for years. And we could learn to eat coral.. it will be grand!

People, its all about people. The Earth will heal itself long after the people are gone. I wish tree huggers would understand that saving the environment is futile--it will go away like it has a thousand times before. They need to start chiming in on making the lives and communities better, not saving the spotted owl.

Wow. Talk about being a total Debbie Downer. It's not too late to start leading a more eco-conscious life. I suppose that if you plan on not having offspring, maybe you could do those of us who plan on having children a favor and change your ways- and your mindset. And Gore doesn't have a chance in hell of winning. He knows this and isn't stupid enough to run again.

Indeed- If you decide there is no point in changing how we take care of this, our only home, then you may as well check out now.
The rest of us will keep on imagining and forging a future for all the creatures living here.

Who are we kidding. Al Gore has a vested financial interest in emissions credits. The conflict of interest will doom any attempt to make him into an icon, let alone Presidential candidate. Follow the money.

Gore is the biggest hypocrite on the face of the earth. He flys on a private jet to all his gigs and lives in a palatial mansion that uses more energy than six normal households. In the last 100 years "scientists" have gone from global warming to global cooling (Newsweek cover circa 1979) and back to today's global warming. It isn't science, its a moral issue according to Algore. That puts anybody who disagrees in the position of being ammoral.
The fact is the Earth has been warming and cooling for thousands of years and it is based upon that orange thing in the sky called the SUN!! To think we as humans can make that sort of negative impact is pretty conceited. What happens if/when the Earth starts cooling again like it did back in the middle 70's? Do all the blind followers of the global warming cult reverse course? Of course not, they will find some way to blame the fat cat republicans for the change.

The guy is a total whack job. Gotta give him a little credit. He claims to offset the emissions from his SUVs and jet by buying stock in companies that are involved in "greenhouse emissions". There is NO scientific evidence sea level will rise like he claims. Fear mongering helps sell his books and videos. The more you fear and believe the nonsense the richer he gets. When the sea level is only an inch higher in ten years he'll shrug it off with "That's good news, but sorry, no refunds on the garbage I sold."
