The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is what is popularly known as a “concept” car. As far as concept cars go, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe has been receiving a fair amount of praise from the critics. Car and Driver magazine calls the Hyundai Genesis Coupe “the whopper.”
The major attraction that is held by the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is its affordability. It comes in at under twenty five thousand dollars even though it has a front mounted engine, rear wheel drive and three hundred horsepower. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe has a DOHC V-six, 3.8 liter engine
The car weighs about thirty five hundred pounds which keeps it from having a V-8 engine (a V-8 engine just won’t fit inside the frame of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe) but it makes up for that by having independent suspension on everything, which struts in its front and a set up of five links in the back.
Critics say that the Hyundai Genesis Coupe should give the Infiniti and the Mustang some competition in the years to come. The designers of this concept car have taken some chances with the outside body design and have manufactured many of the parts out of carbon fiber.
