Car and Driver magazine defines the Honda Accord as “bigger, but just as good as ever.” In its review of this car. The Honda Accord can hold up to five passengers comfortably. The car can be built as either a two doored coupe or a four doored sedan. It has a front engine and front wheeled drive. The new Honda Accord is three inches longer than the models built in previous years and it is almost an inch higher as well. The engine on the Honda Accord is a DOHC sixteen valve 2.4 liter inline-4 engine with between one hundred seventy seven and one hundred and ninety horsepower and between one hundred sixty and one hundred sixty one lb-ft. Drivers also have the option of upgrading it to a SOHC twenty four valve 3.5-liter V-6 engine that has two hundred and sixty eight horsepower with two hundred and forty eight lb-ft. The transmission in the Honda Accord can be decided by the driver whose choices are a five speed automatic transmission and a five or six speed manual transmission. The price of the Honda Accord starts at just under twenty one thousand dollars and can reach just over thirty one thousand dollars, depending on the optional extras that are installed.
