Halloween Stress    Back to the homepage
I hate shopping for Halloween costumes. It is so stressful. Of course I have waited till the last minute because I have no idea what I want to be. I have gone to so many stores and discover the same issue packaged costumes are not meant for tall, relatively skinny people. I’m sorry but there is no way you can get me to buy a costume in which my butt is hanging out of it…that just isn’t hot! So now here it is the day before a big costume party and I have nothing. I guess I am forced into doing one of two things: making my costume or buying thrift store clothing that has already been picked over so many times that only muumuu’s are left!

Anonymous (10/29): Store bought costumes are lame anyways. It's time to get creative! (report)
Birdie (11/2): I agree! Although I must say this was the best Halloween ever. Our group got out act together in advance and even had t-shirts made for our costumes. We ruled the town! (report)
tddink (10/16): I agree with you---I write a newspaper column and a blog called www.coping-with-life.com that talks about how kids have a tough time deciding what to wear, what's itchy, what covers too much of their face. (report)
