I used to be naive and think it was absolutely possible for guys and gals to be "just great friends." There is absolutely no way to avoid the inevitable feelings to develop (on one side or the other or both) unless both parties have ZERO attraction to each other. Sorry to be Debbie Downer on the subject but I just had an experience over the weekend which solidified my view.

I agree... after some time further feeling will always develop... however it depends on alot. If it is two single people I totally agree. But if one party is in a relationship I think it is totally possible to have pleanty of great friend who are only great freinds.

I completely agree, I just went through this last night, thought that there was something there. and now I look like a complete fool for even saying anything. I just honestly thought that he had other feelings for me than just friends. so it sucks I really cared about him and now I have lost him as a friend completely and he is gone forever. so be careful, if u are even thinking about telling him about how you feel just be prepared that he may not feel the same and maybe just keep it to yourself, I wish I had.
